Hi, I'm Janet Skates
your art instructor
My name is Janet Skates. I am an artist based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I create using acrylic paints, paint pens, markers, oil pastels, acrylic inks and watercolors.
My courses are created with YOU in mind and are available on the Teachable platform. Each class takes you step-by-step through my process and techniques in creating various works so that you can incorporate what you learn into your own artwork. Building your skill set increases your knowledge and confidence as you practice. Many of my works go beyond acrylic paint to allow you to utilize a variety of supplies, including your personal favorites!
